Days in Isolation: Day 498

I stand in the middle of the ocean,

Divided by two worlds touching each other:

The world I belong to,

Rich and oblivious,

Being served by the other,

Local and indigent,

Relying on us

While hate hides behind their smiles.

I know my role

But I can’t escape it,

So I sink my head below the sea

And try to make my own world

Under the water.
